So I went to change my oil today and guess what, my oil cap was missing.....interesting. Last time I checked my oil was 2 weeks ago and it was there. Anyway changed the oil and put a paper towel with duct tape over the top to keep "things" from getting in there. Went to the local autoparts stores to get a new one but they all said to order it from the dealer. Any other places maybe online where I might get one? (None listed on ebay.)

If you can't get one from your neighborhood dealership ( They should have them ) then i would go to either Pep Boys, Advance Auto, or even J.C. Whitney. I would want to get one specifically made for your specific vehicle. (Dodge)

 

That is weird that it would just go missing. Let us know how things turn out.

 

You probably forgot to replace it when you either, changed, or checked the oil. It happened to me once, and when i finally lifted up the hood, it was a mess. believe me.
