2006 4X4 real axles.

I am looking for information on the rear axle on my Ram. Its an 06 4X4 SLT with the towing package also. Anyone know what kind of axle I have? Also I have the 20" wheel but I am looking to get rid of those beasts, going with a set of Moto Metal 950 18" with 33" tires.

2003 and later Rams have the 9.25" Chrysler corporate axle manufactured by American Axle Manufacture. AAM is in the great Motor City, Detroit. You can go to thier website by clicking.

Thanks guys. I am wanting to get a over sized cover so I can keep my gears cooler. Didnt know what kind to get so any one have ideas on that one now???
