I've been surfing these pages for some time looking for an exhaust for my 2006 Ram 1500 4.7. Needless to say it could use a little more power. I came across Zoomers exhaust and because they are a local company I decided to give them a shot. I've had many trucks in my day and have had Flowmaster and Magna Flow and a few others and really wanted something new and different. I checked out a lot of threads including some over at www.Chargerforums.com, www.lxforums.com and another. These sites were posted here in a Zoomers thread so I looked them up. Zoomers really has a great reputation and seems to have only satisfied customers, I was impressed with the customer reviews on their products.

Anyway, I went to Arlasky performance the makers of zoomers exhaust and had them install a full cat-back. What a nice system it's really well made and I can see they take price in their workmanship. When I made the call Ron from Zoomers asked me where I heard of them and told him Dodge Forums. I wasn't a member, but he asked that I join after my install to take advantage of special pricing they offer here. I thought that was great so I brought her down for the installation.

The system looks and sounds great the deepness of the idle is pure muscle car. The tone is throaty, not hollow and tinny like my old flows. Wide open thottle just roars, but while crusing she shuts down and purrs, not obnoxious and no drone in the cabin...

I paid $599.00 plus installtion $60.00 well worth the $$... It's all 304 stainless and has a life time warranty and now I sound like a hemi even though I don't have one. If anyone is looking for something new and different Zoomers is a very good chioce, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'll post back after a few thousand miles with any milage gains and seat of the pants HP gains.

That was me that gave you the wrong information, I was thinking V6... Our system fits both the 5.7 and 4.7 sorry for the confusion. Ron 949-916-3240

Okay, so can it be shipped and installed by me? I have access to a lift and all the tools, but is it a weld on only setup? or can it simply be a self install? if not I can always take it to a muffler shop and have it welded and installed.

 

Is that your only kit for the 4.7 ram, I would really like an exhaust that exits in front of the rear tire, but I cannot find a quality kit in stainless.

 

ditto on that, I have a boat and our ramp is pretty long, hate to sink my exhaust tip into the H2O.

 

We make a kit for the 5.7 or 4.7 2004-2005 and 2006-2007 Ram 1500 Quad-Cab only. Both 4.7 and 5.7 kits are the same and are complete bolt on systems. 04-05 are different than 06-07. If you have a lift and tools it's an easy job... Sorry no exit in front of the rear tire, but dont worry our tip is 304 stainless and will not rust. Give us a call if you'd like to place an order... OK GUYS HERE IT IS. I RECEIVED MY ZOOMERS EXHAUST FROM RON ON FRIDAY. 10 DEGREES WITH THE WIND CHILL NOT HAPPY AT ALL.SUNDAY IT'S 50 DEGREES PERFECT FOR INSTALLING A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM.AS SOON AS I REMOVED THE PRODUCT FROM THE BOX I WAS IMPRESSED.THE QUAILITY OF WORK WAS EVERYWHERE.THE MUFFLER WAS BEAUTIFUL. YOU COULD TELL IT'S NOT YOUR ORINARY MUFFLER.IT HAS A SPECIAL DESIGN TO IT WITH FINS WELDED INSIDE. A SPECIAL BOLT ON PLATE ON ONE END. AND ALL CHROME.THE TIP WAS JUST AS NICE. ALL CHROME WITH SPECIAL WIRE MESH INSIDE AND WITH THERE OWN PATENT # ON IT. THE ALL STAINLESS STEEL T304 PIPES WERE BENT PERFECTLY.NICE AND SMOOTH. THE HEAVY DUTY HANGERS WERE TIG WELDED ON.FACTORY PERFECT. OK I INSTALLED IT MY SELF IN MY DRIVE WAY. START TO FINISH TOOK ME 1HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. I COULDN'T BELEIVE IT MY SELF. EVERYTHING FIT PERFECT NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT WERE SIMPLY AND PLENTY OF PICTURES.THIS THING EVEN HAS A LIFETIME WARRENTY WITH IT AND A 110 % MONEYBACK GUARANTEE.
NOW LETS GET TO THE BEST PART, THE SOUND.IT'S UNBELEIVEABLE. JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.A NICE RUMBLE AT IDLE,AND AT NORMAL SPEEDS PERFECT. BUT WHEN YOU JUMP ON IT YOU KNOW IT. A REAL HEAD TURNER.IT REALY WAKES UP THE HEMI.NICE ON THE HIGHWAY NOT ANNOYING. AND BEST OF ALL NO CABIN DRONE AT ALL.
IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE YOU HAVE A DUAL EXHAUST ON YOU TRUCK. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. GREAT THROATY SOUND BUT NOT ANNOYING FOR THE NEIGHBORS.
AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT RON AT ZOOMERS. GREAT GUY TO DEAL WITH. YOU FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIS PRODUCT.
