my 06 ram 1500 has just recently (past 2 weeks)
developed the horrible squeek and rattling inside
sounds to me like its in the upper dash somewhere
ive looked a couple times-- but found nothing

does the top dash panel , closest to the windsheild pop up and off?
I d like to check in there for something loose etc..

any one else have/had something like this?

its driving me nuts

I have a squeak in the upper passenger side corner of the dash, near the windshield. Is this where you are talking about?

 

Yes, it should just pop out.

 

Yes,it pops out.Has several clips.I have a 04 rc and I got a rattle in the dash.Popped the cover off and there was a small piece of plastic rattling.Looked like a piece of where they injected the plastic in the mold popped off.
