Rear doors wont unlock?
Hello everyone,
I have an O6 QC 1500 and I had a passenger in the back and when they lifted the handle to get out the dorr would not unlcok.
At first I thought the child protection was enabled I walked over opened the door and checked it was not.
My question is there another way of enabling this that I may have done by accident, if so does anyone know how to reverse it I took a quick look in the manual however didn't see anything.
It is both back doors and only the back doors.
Thanks in advance

My '05 does that too. Once the truck gets rolling, the doors automatically lock. The front doors unlock once you open the handles, but the rear doors stay locked. Just get into the habbit of pressing the unlock button on your driver door when exiting the vehicle to let the rear passengers out.
It was fine up until today before when you lifted the handle the door would unclock, I would prefer to have it that way. I know last night when I was trying to lock the doors they wouldn't lock at first so i was hitting the button a few times more than normal. Is it possible that this may have done something?

Open the back doors, about the middle of the door there is a child safety lock, check to see if it is on.

you can have them set at the dealer with the STARSCAN to unlock all four when the drivers door handle is pulled from inside, they will set it so when you push the unlock button on your key all doors will unlock. If it is set so when you push unlock just the drivers door opens, and you have to push again to open all four you backs will remain locked even if you open the drivers door from inside. have them program all doors to unlock with one push of the unlock button on the key....that will cure your dillema.

UNLOCK SEQUENCE
The unlock sequence can be toggled using a DRB
IIIt or by using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter that is already programmed to the vehicle.
To toggle between Driver door first and Unlock all
doors function:
(1) Enter the vehicle and close all doors.
(2) Fasten the seat belt (this will cancel the seat
belt chime).
(3) Turn the ignition to the ON position.
(4) Press and hold the UNLOCK button for 4 seconds.
Within 6 seconds with the UNLOCK button
still depressed, press the LOCK button. When a single
chime is heard, release both buttons.
(5) Turn the ignition OFF.
(6) Turn the ignition ON or wait 60 seconds.
If a chime is not heard, program mode was canceled
before the feature could be disabled. If necessary,
repeat the procedure.

I don't know what the deal is with mine either. Child safety's are not on. When I push the unlock button, the locks on the back doors, and just the back doors, visibly move. Both front doors will unlock. I have to hit the unlock button about 15 times for it to fully unlock the rear doors. Really annoying, but at least the will unlock. Just have to reach inside and pull the locks up manually. Dunno what's wrong with them. Maybe they need lubed up?
Now that you mention it, when I went to install Dynamat in the doors I noticed that the locks were a little out of place and rubbing the inside of the door. It made it difficult for them to pop up. Try taking apart the door, it takes all of two minutes and one screw to undo. Take a look around and make sure everything looks okay.
