WHATS AN INFORMATIVE WEB SIGHT FOR REGEARING
I AM THINKING OF RE GEARING MY TRUCK IN ORDER TO GET BACK TO STOCK PERFORMANCE AFTER I ADDED 35 IN TIRES. WHAT IS A GOOD EDUCATIONAL WEB SIGHT FOR THIS, I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT. I HAVE A 03 1500 QC 4.7
not really much for info on doing a gear swap, but a little crash course on differentials in general:

gearing is not exactly a DIY job for the beginner. unless you have all the proper tools (which can cost as much as paying someone to do it) and someone that has done it before looking over your shoulder, i would honestly just take it in to a shop. and not just any shop....a reputable shop. even professionals have a way of screwing up gears.

Just remember most of these online gear calcs do not take into consideration the slippage of the torque converter. I've always found them to be under by about 200 or so RPM's.
