Transmission noise when cold
Hi All: First off I did run a search and found nothing relative to this problem (concern)
My truck is a 2004 Ram 2500 hemi. Not sure at this time of the model trans.
My concern is when it is very cold, say below 35 degrees or so, the transmission moans/whines when shifting from 1st to 2nd, especially under light load. It goes away as soon as it warms up a bit.
Is this common or an indicator of a developing problem.
The truck has 18,000 miles and everything seems normal outside of this noise. Fluid level is OK.
Thanks in advance!
