noise from rear
I have a 03 quad cab with the anti spin rear end and ONLY when I turn hard left or hard right like pulling in or out of a parking spot, it makes a rubbing sound almost like rubber rubbing together. You can hear it only if you are outside of the truck or you hang your head out of the window and listen for it.
The first time I noticed it was when my wife dropped me off and drove off in the truck. It goes away when you straighten the wheels back out. Also it does not do it all of the time, more often then not though.
Any ideas?

How many miles are on the truck? And when was the last time you drained the fluid to inspect inside? Either your TracLoc could be worn out, or possibly the springs broken. This is why many of us have opted for an aftermarket form on limited slip. I have a Detroit TrueTrac. I only have 100 miles on it so far, so I can't comment too much on it, but the spare axle I bought from an '05 with 30,000 miles on it had the springs sitting on the magnet in the bottom on the differential. I'd take the rear cover off, and take a look inside before any further diagnosis. It is also normal for your tires to sounds like they are rubbing a little bit, thats part of having limited slip.
