Default Jet Chip????

Can anyone tell me about the Jet Chip that I see advertised on the speed channel all the time. I see that a lot of people have the SuperChips that i believe or for deisel engines, but what about the Jet Chip? Or is this the same things as the Super chip, but just a different brand?

The superchips is a programmer, they make them for many gas engines, I believe some diesels as well.

I would not reccomend a Jet Chip, I have one in my truck and I noticed no gain in hp/tq and I dropped about 2 mpg, it also seems to make my truck run too rich, soo basically it was a waste of 250 bones IMO.

The Superchips programmer is completely different, and if they made one for the 04 4.7 I would have one.

Definitely go for the Superchips, works very well and has some features that others just don't have. I can not only alter the performance programs, but also lift the speed restrictor (no more 105mph limit), adjust for different diameter tires (so the speedo is right) and adjust the rev limiter. It also doubles as a trouble code reader/resetter. I have a unit for ram trucks, but I plugged into my wife's Liberty to find out why her check engine light came on. Found it then reset it, all done, no problems! This is probably the best thing I have bought for my truck (followed by rear sway bar, mp3 player and bigger tires).
