Installed Volant CAI on ran today. SOP tells me oh yeah. Question is, does anyone have pictures of their install. Everything went good for me right up until the breather hose. There is a rigid line that comes out of the valve cover on the passengers side of the engine compartment. I had to rig a temporary hose to the intake as the volant has the hook up on the opposite side of the engine compartment. Anyone else have this problem?

 

are you sure you have the intake for the 4.7 not the hemi? maybe they are for the same motors just have to run a longer tube. thats why i always trusted k/n always a correct fit.

 

Part number and paperwork show same part in picture . Also says it's for my truck 4.7 1500. Works great, just need to get a longer tube I guess. I have always used K&N to this point myself too. Volant looks sweet and seems to work good...just wierd that tube is like it is.
