Default Threw a P700 code the other day

got in my truck, started it, put it in drive, and started in with the gas. Nothing. Reved it to about 2000rpm then she kicked in. Shortly after, check engine light came on. Pulled the code. Was P700, transmission controller malfunctionor something like that. Limped home in a downpour in second gear. That's all she would shift to. Pulled the battery cable for 15 minutes then re-attached it. The code cleared and the truck went somewhat back to normal but it still doesn't shift right. Feels like there is lots of slack in the shift and maybe even some slippage.
Any ideas or anyone with the same problems?
Truck is an 05 2WD QC Hemi sport with the LSD, 17K

Yeah you definately want to get it to the dealer ASAP. I had the same thing happen to my truck and it took a week for them to verify with DCX that it was the transmission controller and install the new one. Hopefully the check engine light will come on again as they will say nothing is wrong unless they see a code. Since then I have had no problems with my transmission.

I had the same code and the problem was that the dealer didn't fill my trans fluid on two different occassions after they did fluid change. After fluid change truck was shifting funny and threw code p0700 brought it to dealer and they said the fluid was low. A month later drove it out to PA an 1 hour and a 1/2 drive and the same thing. Ilet it sit for the weekend and drove it to dealer with no probs when they looked at it again they said it was 1qt and a 1/2 low on fluid they said they assume they made a mistake and must not have topped it off. Go Figure And no there was no leaks.
