I recently purchased an 03 Ram 2500 Laramie. 4wd, 5.7, 67k miles............

I assume the truck has LSD but only spins one rear tire. I read about the pins breaking in the differentials. How hard is it to replace them?

HVAC is flakey. It will not change to and from heat vents/dash vents/defrost vents most of the time. Sometimes the actuator will move if I cycle the a/c on and off (weird). Is the actuator electronically controlled or vacuum?

Does anybody have the factory service manuals on digits? If not, is there a cheap supplier for service manuals?

I would not assume anything. You need to verify if your truck has limited slip or not before buying parts for it. Also, you sometimes need to brieflylet off the gas to allow the unit to engage properly.

HVAC is electronic, there's no vacuum involved with it. Most likely, you have the TSB related defective defrost door. This is an extremely expensive problem to fix and not for someone who has never attemped it before. Here's alink to the TSB:

The window sticker from when it was new does not state LSD. The sticker in the glove box states 3.73 and 10.5" rear. Where else would I look?

It's been a while since I had to pull the dash in a newer vehicle. No fun at all. The weird thing is that I can sometimes get the HVAC to change to the floor. Either way I guess I'll have to get it all out to see what the problem is. Cripes.
