Default 07 taillights on an 06

Anyone replace their taillights with the new 07 style? Curious if its an easy swap.

Thanks

they are more dimensional. the06 taillights are flat, these look kind of "bubbly". I noticed the new durangos and dakotashave them too

The tail lights on the 06's and 07's are interchangebale, as are the headlights, actaully, according to the local dealer, that is the only differences bewteen the two. Personally, I don't care for the 07 tail lights but I like the 07 headlights, only difference is they don't have the orange bar across the bottom.

The '07 taillights have a Japanese car look. I would switch to '06'sif I bought a 2007 Ram.

Personally I like the 06 taillights more stealth. the o7 headlights are real nice without that yellow bar. I will be looking for a good deal on a pair of those. will look real nice with the silver truck.

I second, or third, or whatever the others....the '07's tail lights look too ricey for me. I prefer the previous style, but every dog has it's own opinion so if you dig 'em go for it !

To me the 07s look too much like the silverados tail lights, but as SLCHemi said, if you dig 'em go for it

The light will fit just fine and pop right in BUT the connectors are different and you WILL have to cut wires to put '07 tails in an '06 truck. I know this because I bought a set of LED tails for my '07. These particular LEDs are sold and advertsied as fitting in all '02 through '06 Dodge trucks. They even sold them to me after I said mine was an '07. "They should work its the same light". And they DO work now but only after some tracing and cutting which was a PITA.
