Default Pioneer Speakers

Does anyone have the Pioneer ts-a1681r 6 1/2" 4 way speakers installed in there quad cab? I just ordered them along with a Kenwood KDC X590 head wondering if they sound ok?

Well those speakers will fit your rear door, but will take some custom fabrication to fit the front door. Pioneer's have always sounded pretty good to me. They should sound fine in your truck, although you might want to upgrade the other speakers as well...

Asking about a product before you order it might be smart too

My personal opinion is you did good with the Pioneers. That is all I run - decent sound at a decent decent price. I'm not a big fan of Kenwood products though. I've had heat prolems with every Kenwood deck or amp i have owned but it been a few years.

I've found if you match Pioneer to Pioneer, you get a pretty good sound.

Good luck with it!
