winter effects on wheels
Anyone know how the chrome clad aluminum wheels fair in the winter with the salt and sand they put on the roads? So far it has been a minimal use of the crapbutit's only a matter of time before winter nails us good!
I have the forged wheels but as a rule: Always keep a coat of wax on them. A good cleaner wax like Zymol works great. I also use the Eagle One "Wax as you dry" spray on wax every time I wash the wheels. It keeps snow and mud from sticking.
