Default Are you a new Dodge/Chrysler owner?

Hey, how is your Dodge/chrysler car or truck holding up?

I'm the first un happy Ford owner to log in to my own poll.

And I'm happy with my Dodge 2500 Ram .

I went from a 95 GMC jimmy (blazer) to an 06 ram and haven't been happier. Upkeep costs on the jimmy where costing me so much it was a no brainer to go for a new truck. 4500 miles, an accident where I was t-boned, and 2 oil changes with Mobil 1, and the beast is running (and handling) awesome.

I had a 93 Dodge Dakota 5.2L (318) ext cab short bed LE w/ 208,000 miles. I decided it was time to move up to the ram and am really glad I did. The Dakota served the purpose great, and it was all over the US on various trips and college moves for my oldest daughter---you wouldn't believe how much stuff I asked that truck to move---whew!! I read a lot of reviews about all the manufacturers and decided to stay with Dodge, It was in my opinion, the best out there.

The poll does not have my reason. Just thought the Ram looked better.

My Dad always drove Fords,he would never buy anything else, all our farm trucks as well as personal autos were Fords. When I was about to get my drivers license,I asked him to help me buy a car. He told me to buy it myself if I wanted one.So I bought my sisters boyfriends car (1968 Charger R/T) for the princely sum of $700.00. This was pretty pricey for 1978 (gas crunch). My old man threw a fit when I brought it home! That in itself made buying the MOPAR worth while! And, as an added bonus,it was tons faster than his 68 GT 390 Mustang! I have been driving Mother Mopars products pretty much ever sinse!

Long story short.....14 times to the dealer in less than 6 months.

1 new torque converter
1 new engine
3 time for thetranny
1 new t-case
1 new injector
1 new injector pump
7 times for CEL (4 for Batt Temp Sensor, 1 for the injector,2 for low fuel presure)

I had to doa final notice to DC when they finally replaced the engine and tranny.

I'm doing another for all the CEL's.

I've had more issues with this one truck than all my other trucks, boats, motorcycles, ATV's & snowmobiles COMBINED.

JUNK!
