01 tailgate on a 06 ?
Will a 01 2500 tailgate fit on a 06, I'm getting a new work truck in a couple of weeks but it has the ugliest topper on it . I would like to put my 01tailgate and ARE topper on if it fits. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

No.
The gate protector is to protect the gate and is suppose to help MPG
With that said, yes it is ugly. It is also standard, so most Rams (06 and newer) have them. Only way you do not get it is if the dealer or you order the truck with a delete.
