Gibson Super Truck Exhaust
I just installed my Gibson Super Truck exhaust on my 2007. It took about 45min -1hr, and I'd have to say that it ws rather easy, as long as you pull the tail pipe from the stock muffler ( or else its a pain to get over the axel ). It sounds awesome......... The only thing that I dont care for so much is the MDSD ( 4 cyclinder cutout) on the 07, sounds like you're in a helicopter. Otherwise, it rocks. You can feel the increase in power immediately. The best part was that I only paid $315 with free shipping and I was able to do it myself. I would highly recommend the system, and if you've got the extra cash, spring for the stainless system. Between the K&N and the Gibson, I believe I've gained at least 20HP at the flywheel.
i've heard a few, sounds greeaaat, i'd prolly get em to just run tips out the back like mine are now tough, i like the style tips they give but not just on one side, i like it all around haha. how do you think the two tips they give would look coming straight out the back centered in the middle?
Yeah I love the gibson super sport exhaust it's only loud when you get on it and it has a very distinctive sound yeah it is a little pricey but it is well worth it I have the stainless one which is more I noticed a good gain in power with it.
To me the Jet stage II is well worth the money!! I bought a used one of of EBay for 125 and it looked like it had never been used you can get some good deals on them if you just look and are not in a hurry. As far as power gains I noticed a big difference took about 50 miles or so for it to adjust but you need to make sure you have aftermarket exhaust/Airintake/180 stat and run at least 91 octane I use 93. I am very pleased with my results and for now that is the only chip made for and 07
