Noticed today that when I put on my turn signal my daytime running lights turn off on the same side as the signal ie. turning left, left headlight goes out when turn signal shuts off headlight comes back on.

Well, that is not normal. Did you check to make sure your turn signals are not burt out? It is possile that is a warning type thing for a bunt out bulb, just tossing out an idea, I do not know this as a fact.

Both turn signals are working. I guess I will take back to dealer have only owned the truck for just over a week. If i turn on the headlights there is no problem it only happens to the DTR lights.

I think that that is normal with the daytime running lights. Look towards the bottom of this post, they were talking about it. https://dodgeforum.com/m_577488/tm.htm

That sounds normal to me. Every other brand of vehicle including GM and Ford products all do the same thing. I think it might be a safety requirement of something.
