I am looking into buying an 04, which of the model lines would you suggest? SLT, SLT Sport, Or Laramie? Which models come with the higher ratio diffs, more power, etc.

 

there all the same truck, just different models, the slt has chrome accents, the sport has painted accents instead of chrome, and the laramie has all of the fancy options and chrome, pretty sure they all have the same gears on them too, all have same engine. no matter what one you get though they all look pretty nice

yeah, pretty sure u can get leather with the other two but it would be an option and cost more, laramie has most of the luxury options and of corse costs more

 

after getting just the SLT - I would have went for the leather - easier to clean - the cloth seats hold a ton of dust.....

 

There very little difference mechanically betwen the three. To add some confusion to the debate there's also 2 levels of the Laramie and SLT packages. I'm not sure about the sport.
The laramie leather is nice but I installedreplacement covers on my 04 SLT plusfor less than 500 and they are just as nice and still smell new.
