Default Flowmasters So-Called "HEMI Muffler"

When i first put the exhaust on my truck i was told by several people that you had to have flowmasters 50 series H.D. for your hemi to run correctly. Well thats bull. That was 7-8 months ago and just two weeks ago i decided i wanted a free-er flowing exhaust because i want more performance. Hmm, exhaust, great place to start. So i put an X-Pipe on and some single chambered flowdaddys on there. Anything other than the HD muffler is supposed to reduce backpressure. Which is true in a sense but this would result in loss in power and MPG. And it's doing WAY better in both areas now. Now i have an extremely deep sounding exhaust and a little more torque. So...... don't believe the lies.........

Well, I don't know about needing the muffler to run properly. I just got it (for x-mas) because I wanted a nice sounding exhaust and something a little more free than the factory setup. I figured I'd just get a catback for now. Later, after the warranty expires, then I'm getting the whole package, headers and dual exhaust all the way back.
