The rims I want are Series 8089. I am looking at 17", but is it better to get 17X9 instead of 17X8? Will it make much of a difference? I have been trying to read up on back spacing and from what I found out I need 4.5' but I wanted to make sure........any help would be nice, thanks.

 

It depends on what size tires you are putting on it. I have 17x8 with 35x12.5x17 but if you went with a 35x13.5x17 or bigger you would want the 9" or 10" rim. And yes, you are correct on the 4.5" backspacing... And FYI the bolt pattern is 5x5.5 in case you needed that info. Hope this helps!
