Just replaced mine on my 4.7, I've been waiting for two months to get one through any of the parts places. Advanced came through last week. I went to change it and viola' it is not on the front like the pictures show when I did a search. So I took it to my mechanic and had him look it over, it was on the back side of the engine between it and the firewall. (WTH) took about 30 minutes of him fiddling with not being able to see it, good to go now. He did mention that the new Ethanol fuel actually hurts the mpg and messes up the EGR valve because most vehicles are not made to run off of it.

 

Yeah I agree with previously said, Change the egr valve and your plugs and you should be good.
