You're right, only an idiot would go full throttle with the family in the car. Now I am only 18 so I do not have children but I know when i'm older if I do I will still drive around by myself sometimes and it will be fun to get on it every now and then. I personally would not buy an srt8 cherokee. I do not like driving cars but I would rather have an srt8 charger and a deisel truck or something. Also, if you replace the wheels and tires on the srt8 jeep then you can have a good sport utility vehicle that can go offroad and still be fast. The cherokee srt8 can still be used like it's an SUV. The only difference really between that and the other cherokees are the wheels, tires and the huge motor. Other than that, it's still an AWD jeep.

 

your correct, i was just about to post that the only way i would buy a srt8 cherokee was if i put some more trail worthy tires on it and put smaller rims on it, but it seems that for the price of an srt8 cherokee and new tires and rims it would just be cheaper to buy a hemi cherokee and supercharge it.... then you would have a car just as fast and it would be even more unique than the srt8 cherokee

 

That's true and the bad thing about the srt8 GC is you can't tow with it. Now i never tow anything anyways but I still think you should be able to tow with an SUV or a truck. The exhaust comes out where the tow package would be. Now just think about an srt8 GC super charged That thing would be insane. haha. I kind of want to see a lifted srt8 cherokee. See some rich middle aged guy bombing around in some mud or down some desert roads in an srt8 cherokee on 35's lol. I think that would be a blast.

 

that would be pretty funny, especially if he was really snobby and he didnt know how to drive and when he got a scratch on it he paniced and had a spazz attack.

 

Personally, I'd rather see Dodge come out with aRam with the 6.1 Hemi. That'd be sweet. I'd like to do that when my 5.7 Hemi wears out.

i dunno man i still think the GC SRT-8 is sexay lol If you are gonna buy anything with the SRT badge on it the last place you'll bring it is off-road. Yea its a jeep but the GMC Syclones was a GMC Jimmy with AWD and turbo.... that type of suv is a pure street suv, and yes they can be sporty and not just for off roading. If some one wants a powerfull jeep to go off roading in they will get the GC with the 5.7 hemi. Oh i think "SRT" stands for Street & Racing Technology or Street Racing Technology well thats what google came up with lol
