Can they be installed on any Ram 1500? Or is it that some trucks have cut outs specifically for these hooks? Where would these hooks be installed? How difficult is the process to install?

if you have even the tiniest bit of welding, cutting and fabricating skills whatsoever you can make a set and have them on your truck in well under an hour. if you cant do any of that get a friend who knows how.

I could get my bother inlaw to fab me some hooks but my point is when you put a sticker price of $44,000 on a 4X4 truck put some friggin tow hooks on it all Ford 4X4's have them so do GMC.
Don't get me wrong I love the truck but now that I have had it for a couple weeks and the novelty
is wearing off I am starting to notice stuff that bugs me.

we may not get stuck, but it's damn sure nice to be able to hook up and tug a ford out.

there is an option for them when you build a truck on the website. i believe its like 180 extra. i dont know if you built a truck online and just overlooked it or if you went to a dealer lot and the one you picked didnt have them but there is an option for them.
