Default Light question

I want to put some Hella 500 lights behind my grille to help see on these dark desert roads here in Az. My truck doesn't have fog lights so I don't have the factory fog light switch installed. I want to buy the switch and hook the Hellas to it.Is it possible to hook up the Hella's to the factory fog light switch?

I'm not sure, but I pretty sure that you'd need the connector that plugs into the back of the switch, because a standard crimp connector isn't going to plug into the back of it. The other thing I would look into is what the stock switch is rated for in AMPS. I'm not sure if the ones you want are too big for it or not. Hope that helps a lil.

Good points motorhead, those are two things I didn't think of.
