Diagnostic Code 442/456

Have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT,V8, 34K,with Service Engine Light on. Diagnostic indicates Code 442/456. Gas Cap replaced twice. Light went out but came back on after approx. 250 miles. Live in Texas and needs inspected but won't pass with light on. Any suggestions? Thanks!
