I don't want one if they have problems. My QC is an 06. I noticed super tuner didn't address your complaint. Sounds as if you have a legitamite complaint. I won;t buy if he addresses everyone on the thread but you. While others are saying how much they like their tuner for other model years, you have a problem that is not being addressed. That isn't right.

A freind had a superchips and we compared them and it just seemed like you could get more out of the hypertech than the superchips. Same truck different results. But it all comes down to personal opinion i guess.

We have looked into his specifc issue and can not find the problem with the tuning.
With the thousands of tuners we sell for the 2006 trucks there has been only a few with this complaint.

That’s just the type of responses I get from SC all the time.

They do not want to stay on the phone and work it out. I guess they figure "Hey we have a few thousand 06 trucks working and only a handful not, Want a refund?"

My idea of Customer Service would have been[/b].

"Let’s work on this and figure it out. How about we schedule a day we are on the phone together, and work through this. We will have a tech here that can view your files as you update and we will try to make changes too see if we can correct this. We do not want to lose your business nor do we want to have you use a tune that may cause problems with your $32,000.00 truck. The time we spend on the phone with you will be worth it to fix the few people with this problem."

They never contacted me or told me if they even looked to see if it was maybe my version of the ECM/TCM or if it was the version of software that Dodge had loaded in my truck. I am willing to go to Dodge and tell them what I want. My dealership/salesmen are very friendly and I have bought a few vehicles from them. I never had a problem walking in and telling them what I wanted done.

I never asked them to jump through hoops just for me, but I did ask for some honest customer service. Ron has always been friendly to me on their forums but the lack of replies from the Dodge Team is what upset me. I asked for a response from them and they can not take 5 minutes to reply.

I’m an IT Specialist/Network Admin; I have to deal with “Users†all day long. Sometimes you need to just take the time to resolve a problem no matter what it takes. The worse thing I think about the whole thing was they want to blame it on a stock problem that they claim is amplified but the tuning. When I tested this and found this is not the case and it is not happening in stock. I get no reply.

Again this is not in anyway against Ron. He handles that board in a very professional manner.

Maybe I expected too much for my $400.00??[/i]

Well, the 06 5.7L Hemi tune sucks. It forces your 5speed to shift to 4th and back to 5th for no reason in the 36-55mph range....

Thats weird cause I don't have that problem at all on my 06 Hemi.

Well I have an 06 hemi ram with superchips and I just went for a little drive to see if mine shifts like that and it does not. I accelerated from a stop driving normally and set cruise at 45 and 50 and it shifted to 4th then into 5th once I set cruise.

ORIGINAL: SUPERCHIP TUNER

Our 2007 tuning is not out yet, but YES it will be the same tuner.
Ron
well, if its the same tuner, why dont you just put the 06's out and mark them 07's? im def. not looking forward to getting one because of all the problems that arose from the supchips. its a good waste of $500. so what do you guys do when someone complains about their truck messing up from your chips? nothing? sit back and tell them its "a Dodge problem?" hm... from what i heard, your customer service on a scale of 1-10 is a 0. word of mouth that is.

Not trying to defend anyone here... not that I really think it is much of a defense... but I did recieve an email survey from Superchips asking if they offered a warrenty through SC would you want it (of course I said yes) then asked if you would pay $99 or something like that for it (on top of the $400- 500 for the product, I definatly said no). I can safely say that everyone likes it when they get something for nothing, but I feel if SC had confidence in their product, it would already be included, and not in an inflated price. I think that if this would be offered free of charge, then it would put to rest almost everyones concerns of their product. Hopefully they follow through... and not try to make another $100 off of it.
