Going up a steep incline the vehicle shuts off. Local dealership says spark plugs need replacing but that doesn't sound right. Any ideas?

Let them do their jobs and fix it. A 2005 has to be under warranty still?

How much fuel is in the tank when it happens? Over half? or under? I've gone up some steep grades (offroad) and had the fuel gauge go to empty where the low fuel light comes on. Usually the tank is under half when this happens.

was going to ask if you are having any fuel pickup issues, vapor locking?
