This has SCAM written all over it! Do not do it. By the time it is found out to be a bogus check, your truck and $5,000 are gone. Happens all the time. Red

Got the same thing when i sold my crewcab dually. the first guy was from Africa and he would not wire the money to me and handle his own shipping, told him where to go. pissed him off but still never came thru. The second guy , in Hawaii, at first pushed the money order deal. i then told him i had a secound bank acount and to wire all the money there. I thought he would back out, but he came through. So i guess my truck is now in Hawaii. So if you can get them to wire the money to a safe account (one that is just used for saving extra cash, like for x-mas. one you would not get to upset about if it got broke into) and they handle to shipping you are good to go.

 

yup this is a scam, happens alot in the UK and all over the world now.

 

I've come across it almos daily on ebay. I've been shopping for a motorcycle, and even though the seller lists their location somewhere locally in the states, you always get an email later saying, the bike is in storage in the UK or something, and after the whole square dance with the money order thing they'll handle the shipping and charges, and you'll get your bike! No worries right? F that! No good deals seem to be true anymore.

 

i thought it would be too good to be true. i texted the guy back and told him it was sold. the reason i am selling my truck is because it is always broken. i have had it 6 months and have done over 3000 in repairs to it. i love my truck but if i knew it wouldn't break down i might keep it. plus payments are 500 a month and gas is 500 a month and theres rent and bills to pay.

 

damn 500 a month in gas?????? I just figured out with online banking how much my gas has cost since oct 23rd and it was $596. where are you driving?

i drive all over southern saskatchewan and into alberta sometimes. i have put over 20000km on my truck since i bought it in august and winter time gets way worse gas mileage. maybe with my new job at home it will be less and i can hang onto it a little longer. got good memories in the back seat of ithopefully i don't owe on imcome tax or it will have to go. i might get abig return though that would be nice. sell my sled and maybe keep it for a bit. ill be the only kid going to school that ownes a 2003 hemi ram that would be sweet.

 

that is a lot of gas. and repairs, my truck has had only one problem (besides being a victim of theft) and that was a breather hose came out. otherwise top notch all the way. Did the previous owner take care of the truck or did he destroy it.
