sliding window leak???

Default sliding window leak???

anybody have a problem with the sliding rear window leaking. i got in my truck the other morning and the sound of water leaking into the rear of the cab bout scared the hell out of me. it has rained twice since that day and i havnt seen any water. possibly a fluke?? or has anyone else had this problem??

Mine never leaked but made a creaking noise with every bump. When I order my next truck, it will have a solid rear window. Just make sure your window latches properly. It only takes a little gap for water to enter. Maybe your truck was twisted just enough. Watch it carefully. Good luck. Red

I have the same truck as you and mine leaks alot, but mine is leaking from above the sliding window

it seems to be coming from right under the sliding portion of the window. it rained all day yesterday and only about a cup of water leaked in. but still it doesnt take much to ruin everything.

Sure enough, mine leaked as well. It turns out mine was the third brake light seal was bad. That caused water to trickle down from the top of the window.

yeah i will check that. it does seem like it only happens every once in a while. im gonna go outside with a hose this weekend and figure it out. i wont sleep till i find it.
