I've heard posts of people doing that, and the resonance from the MDS may be more than you would like. You may be better off getting a catback dual system from a manufacturer, although I have also heard that chambered mufflers (like flowmaster) are also prone to the strange resonance from the MDS kicking in. Hope this helps you some, and I'd bet somebody will be able to chime in with first hand experience.

I have duals on mine all the way. 06 1500 4x4 QC with MDS & yes it will make an annoying sound around 45-55 mph with 3.92 gears. Cruising at 60-80 is fine though. I have the Flowmaster 70 series dual in/out muffler.
