Default New 2007 Quad Hemi 4x4-Need Advice

Just picked up my new Inferno Red 2007 Hemi Quad 1500...Nice Truck...only problem, I think my old 2004 2500 Hemi had more power and juice off the line.
The 1500 rides nice, but it feels like it's being held back by some unknown life force! The 2500 had Dual Flowmasters, K&N Air Filter and was a bear when you stomped it!

The 1500 has the ESP (Electronic Stability Program), which keeps it from spinning the tires. So, I'm wondering if that's holding it back...or, do I need to add some mods, like the duals and maybe a chip?

I've added the K&N Air Filter, and still run the singlestock exhaust.
But haven't felt any difference in performance. The truck looks so nice I am constantly getting challenged off the lights. Just looking to wake up the sleeping giant!!

Any advice>!

Thanks in advance.

On another note, if I add a chip, is it really worth it for just driving around and does it void the manufactuers warranty?

Dodge took some of the throttle response away from the first part of the pedal. It is'nt as touchy when you tap the pedal. This was done for better traction when starting out. It comes in smoother mid-press of the pedal. Performance is the same when they measured 0-60mph.

Thanks for the insight into the pedal issue. I just found that if I shut the ESP off, the tires spin like they were on ice...pretty funny, if nothing else. My 2500 couldn't spin the tires, evenif they were on ice.
Do you know why that would be...and from your post, you say the '07 1500 is just as fast as the '04 2500? Good to know.

Is there any way to pick the pedal up to bolster the response?
Any other suggestions? Looking to make this thing flyy!

OK...call me a little slow. What is the Flashpaq and what will it do to increase my performance and speed off the line?

Any other mods you could suggest, minor or major for that matter?

Thanks.

STS Turbo would wake your truck up! And since I have the same vehicle, although mine is a black SLT, you can tell me how it works out. You can also run a higher stall torque converter, or a shot of nitrous, or a ProCharger, or.........sorry, got carried away.
