Default New Speakers

I have a 2002 4.7 SLT and i was wondering if i could put new speakers in the doors of my truck. I want to replace the horrible stock speakers and put some new ones in that sound better. Where can I find some new replacement speakers? How can I replace them, do I have to remove the door pannel to take out the old ones or can they just pop out? What are the dimensions of the speakers that I would need to buy as well? Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

I usually use www.crutchfield.com 's vehicle fitment selector for finding out what will fit and how to put it in. They're prices are way over the top, but the information is free. All you'd need to do is look around for some better prices on the stuff you want.

Http://www.millionbuy.com is where I buy all my stuff. I do what BigJRussell said. Use crutchfield to find the specs of what you need.

You will need to remove the door panels to change the speakers. Crutchfield is usually pretty accurate, but i find it just as easy to take the door off and look. That way you can measure mounting depth as well.
