Default headlight switch replacement

The tail lights, license plate lightsand parking lights are not working on my '02 Ram. The headlights and dashlights work fine, however. This morning, when I noticed the problem, I jiggled the switch back and forth rapidly a few times and the lights came back on. So, I'm guessing it must be the switch, right?

How do I go about replacing it?

Default RE: headlight switch replacement

I have the exact oppisite issue. My parking lights and fog lights won't shut off. Started like yours and then got worse so that I had to pull the relays and fuse to get everything to shut off. The whole peice around the switch up to the vent you are supposed to pry off very carefully. Then disconnect the wiring connector. After that there are 4 screws that remove the switch from the plate. The whole switch is about $72 from Autozone and takes shipping time if not in stock. The other issue may be the relays, there is one for the fog lights and one for the parking lights. Hope this helps.
