Stereo/subwoofer question
Hey everyone!
I got tired of no thump when I listen to any type of music in my truck.
I bought a 12" jbl subwoofer, truck sub box, and an audiobahn amp.
I was curious, because I've got an '02 Ram reg cab SLT, how I mount
the sub box and amp. I thought some velcro for the box and drill the
amp into the center of the back part of the cab a little above the plastic
part.
My question is what do you think of my idea? If you've done this before,
any advice would be VERY much appreciated. Any pics or anything would
be awesome. Thanks bigtime!

Becareful with the screws you use to mount the amp. That truck skin is very thin and might go all the way through. If anything, if it's permanent, I'd use rivets and then put some silicone sealant in before you pop the rivets in. The box won't be held in by velcro. Unless you got something like the suit that will hold you to a velcro wall. I would check under the cab and actually screw or rivet the box into the floor.
well...I also thought of mounting the amp under my seat. I don't see there being a problem withit under there.I do have this big plastic thing in the back. I like it and would like to keep it. You don't think velcro or something would help? because the box is going behind the driver's door. And there's a flat spot there like as if a box was meant for it. lol
