my girlfriends dad tried the whole "cleaning his guns on the coffee table" bit when I showed up to pick her up for the first time. He was taken back when I sat down and started talking to him about firearms and his built powerstroke in the driveway.(he had a double barrel 10 guage, S & W 357 and his bushmaster AR15 out)He also said I was the first of her boyfriends to look him in the eye when I talked to him (my dad was a marine and has no repect for people who won't look him in the eye) so I was raised to do so. His plan of scaring me back fired on him and now he says because of that first night the only thing he dislikes about me is that I drive dodge haha.
