supercharger
I would go supercharger if kenne bell came out with a kit but they are lagging big time. I also like the idea that i can turn my boost basically all the way off with a turbo charger very easily. You can't do that with a supercharger.
well, GS Motorsports has a supercharger kit that i was thinking about buying because i have never been a fan of turbos on V8's. guess i'm kinda old school and my whole idealogoy is that turbos are for 4cyl's and diesel lol.
last i knew kenne bell made a supercharger for the hemi ram, i have an article in a mag bout a ram that had a kenne bell charger on it, but i could be wrong...havent looked into any of that for quite sometime

They started a kit for the hemi but later ran into tuning issues and have put the idea on hiatus. The GS motorsports supercharger I was considering for a while but I heard the power gains ar epretty weak for the cost. Procharger is coming out with a supercharger soon for the hemi rams so you may want to call them. I decided on a turbo because for the same price you can get more power. All the superchargers I have seen put the hemis around 385ish rear wheel HP and the sts turbo on 7 pounds at like 4000 ft put a hemi ram to 417 RWHP. If you find a good supercharger let me know, I just kind of put superchargers out of my mind after reading HP numbers and costs. I did a little bit of research as well on them
The GSM fuel system is bad. Quite a few folks have swapped out the GSM fuel system for the smt6/8 large injector fuel system. On a side note, the GSM kits have blown so many SRT8 engines that Chrysler knows what to look for when an SRT8 comes in with a blown engine but have removed all remnants of the supercharger. I've seen two stories posted about how fraud charges were almost brought against owners!!! If you read on lxforums, you'll also see there is an "off the forum" cult of engine blown GSM owners. lol. Be careful of the GSM kit and their fuel system. If you get one of their setups, spend the extra money to get a different fuel system.
I've heard of some more supercharger options coming out so hang tight and you never know what twin screw may pop up!
