looking for a certain CAI pic
I've been reading on all the CAI designs and debates. I passed a thread where one of you had just changed out the resonator and had run a straight tube from the TB to the stock Air Box.
Can someone point me to that picture or a picture like that. I'm thinking of starting there and wanted to take a look but for the life of me, I can't find it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

The resonator is an exhaust part, not intake. As far as replacing just the tube between the filter box and the air box, I think personally you would be wasting your time. Maybe someone else has additional information but to not replace the entire assembly from the throttle body to the filter wouldn't do much.
Yes, you are correct Jrush. It's called the resonator box or the "hemi hat". The intake you are looking for is called True Flow. They make the tube that goes to your throttle body. If I went that way i would get a K&N drop in filter and make some sort of ram air.
I removed the resonator ( yes you were right by calling it that ) and installed the True Flow system with the TF filter and I am extremely pleased with it. go to www.trueflow.comto see a really good demo on it.
Thanks guys,
I just wasn't sure if the resonator was the same as the hemi hat or if that was the filter box itself.
I really appreciate the link and I'll check it out right now but I thought I saw a poster's ride who had done it. I was looking for that homemade pic. I know it was just 2reducer ferncos and 1 long radius elbow but i wanted to see it again to see where he mounted the sensor.
Thanks again for the link, I appreciate it.
