just bought it 4 days ago. engine light comes on within 2 hrs. it has 95000 miles on it . new york to florida runs . supposibly ! brought to dealer next day. they said e.g.r. was bad and was replaced . 50 miles later ,same day eng. light comes on again! what gives? runs great! i read the forum , is this this batt temp thing or what? i love the truck but getting grouchy! any help is appreciated.

 

NMI...need more info, try gettin the code and then repost what the code is

 

If you have an AutoZone in your area, they should be able to hook a reader up and get the code. If the dealer did not disconnect the battery or otherwise clear the code before installing the EGR valve, it's possible the code is still popping up (don't know that to be the case).
