Default Steering Wheel ?

Does or has anyone everhad a problem with there leather wrapped steering wheel wearing down. Mine looks like its 100 years old has a small crack on top, and just looks terrible. I wonder if that is covered under warrenty? I only have 11000 Miles on it and thats really the only problem i have ever had with the truck, knock on wood lmao. Thanks

Looks like you're still under warranty. Why not contact your dealer and give it a try?

I park my truck either in a garage or car port most of the time, and try to be aware of how much I hold the steering wheel in one place, just because I do not want this happening to my truck. I also have a 2005, and my truck is going on 20 months old, and 33,000 miles with the steering wheel looking like brand new. Have you ever used a leather conditioner on your wheel (or seats if you have leather seats)?? The sun lights shining into the front is the biggest factor usually when the leather wears prematurely.
