My truck is coming up on its 60,000 mile service, so I need to get a bunch of things done to it. One of those being the transmission flushed. My question is about the bands. One Dodge dealer tells me they need to adjust the bands every 30,000 miles so they don't recommend going to a quickie place and having it done, but another dealer says they don't adjust the bands unless there are problems.

Anyone have an opinion on transmission service and the bands.
