My driver side door latch quit working yesterday. will not unlock at all. can open from inside, not outside.wont unlock with key or remote. anyone else have this issue, or I am hoping this wont happen reguarly.

i had the same problem on my 04 ram also about 7 months ago, i pulled the latch and determined it was bad so went to the dealer and they ordered a new latch and that fixed it

Check to make sure that someone didn't try to jimmy the door under the door handle. Someone attempted to break into my 04 and managed to knock the rod loose so they couldn't get in. The door would only open from the inside until I reattached the rod.

When you say latch........do you mean the solenoid actuator?
Mine has just recently started to do this intermittently.
