04 Dodge Ram 3500 CTD - Biggest Tire I can fit?
New to the forum....
I have a question on the biggest tire I can get on my stock riding 2004Ram 3500 CTD 4x4 QuadCab? I have 33x12.5R17 Mickey Thompson D**K CEPEK FC-II's on my stock 17 inch rims. I have about 1/2 inch turning room with these tires. However, the tires still look small in the wheel well.
I am looking at upgrading my rims this spring with 18's and I was wondering if I could squeeze in a set of 35" tireswith the stock stanceor would I have some serious rubbing issues? Could I add a 2 inch front leveling kit to squeeze the 35's up front?
Thanks any help would be appreciated!

I had 35's on my '03 2500. Some fit stock others are a little taller tire and you need the 2" daystars up front. I have some pics at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/281179/6
Yeah, what he said....
Check the MFR's specs on their website for actual tire dia. on LT rated tires. Many35's are only little over 34" tall.
With the CTD's stiff front suspension, you can get away withalot more than aHemi or especially a soft sprung Power Wagon.

I believe with stock rims and backspacing 35x12.50's fit with very little rubbing at full lock on the control arms. Simple fix is get some wheel spacers to put the wheels out a little
