Stock Hemi vs. Honda V-Tec

how abought putting the Hemi in the Honda, and the V teck engine in the Dodge Ram, than see who's faster.......The V tec engine in the Honda is quicker than a dodge Ram hemi, only because of less whieght and better arow dynamics of the Honda....

the stock ram only has 263 wheel horsepower but it isn't horsepower that gets you up to speed its the torque and the power to weight ratio of the ram vs honda is probably greater in the ram. and ya i got to admit that made absolutly no sense. hemi will take it easy
ok i dunno if i missed it but wut kind of hemi do you drive rc or qc? also the outcome of this race varies in what motor he has in his car. i mean is it a b16 dohc, d16sohc, is it a prelude h22a. there are numerous vtec motors that they could have swapped. but if its a dohc then he pretty much has you beat in a quarter mile. i myself have a honda. its EG hatchback with a jdm h22a motor. 200hp stock and i ran a high 13 on stock ****ty tires. also what mods does he have on his car and wut mods do you have in your truck. but like i said earlier there are alot of motors he could have used in his del sol, i would say the top of the line vtec motors for a 4 cylinder would be the b16A,B18,H22A, and the new Kseries motors found in the new acura rsx type s. but only one way to find out is to go out and race him. i myself have my money on him if he has a dohc motor w/ mods.
Talk about over kill, its pointless to put an h22 in a small hatchback, way to much weight, you would be better off with a dohc vtec of a modified d16z6. I know if he has a dohc vtec stock then he doesnt really have a chance, but if it has mods then yes he would prolly win.
lets see is this helps out to this problem.
me and my buddy lined up couple nights ago, he has a 98 gsr with full TODA head, DC headers/exhaust, type R tranny with carbon synchros, short throw, AEM intake and fuel rail, ACT stage 2 clutch, and an Type R IM... i just have a '03 standard cab 2wd1500 Hemi with K&N 77 series and a magnaflow muffler... from a dig i jumped and stayed ahead about 1 car... from a 60mph roll i stayed ahead about 1/2 a car
