The first question should be.....

How big of a trailer do you plan on towing? You'll take a serious hit when it comes to depreciation on your 05, so I think you should see how much you plan on towing first and then decide if youNEED a new truck.

You might also consider getting taller gears too. A lot cheaper than a new truck

Agreed. You are going to get hammered on your 05 since DC is offering HUGE discounts on 06's and 07's.

I would agree get the diesel. I would however wait til next year. With the advent of the new low sulfur diesel fuels alot of diesel motors are not properly designed. The new low sulfur diesel fuel has ALOT less lubricity and wears the diesels outalot faster now. Just some food for thought.
