Hello everyone, Im new to this forum and need some help. I have a 2002 Ram 1500, 3.7L, 2X4. I recently had a remote starter put in and ever since then my cruise has been messin up. When driving and you turn on the cruise and set the speed it works fine, but when you hit the brake to disengage the cruise it doesnt disengage. And when you hit your brake 3 times it completely disengages it and wont turn on until you turn the truck off and then back on. Anyone now what the hell could be the problem? I replaced the brake switch, which is what the Dodge dealer suggested, and I have done a search here and seems like no one has had this same problem, but have noticed people saying it could be either the servo or some vaccum lines. Any suggestions. thanks

Did you take it back to who ever installed it and have them look at it? Sounds dangerous to me. Maybe someone here can help you. Get it fixed soon! Red

 

Yea I took it back right away and thats when they changed the brake switch. They still dont know whats going on with it
