I am looking to install a cat back on my 05 QC 1500 with Hemi, but am not sure which one is the loudest. I want my Ram to sound loud and aggressive. Any help??? Sound clips??

Just run a cut out after the catalytic converter. From inside you can be loud to show off, or close it and be whisper quiet.

 

thats a great idea. how much does it cost to have an electric cutout installed. parts and labor.

 

around here, in VA, its @ $50 labor and the cutout is variously priced, I am looking for a price now at the manufactuer:

Looks to be @ $200 to control it from inside the cab, regardless of exhaust size from 2.25 to 3.50

 

i used a Aero Turbine 3030 dumped under the rear seat it sets of car alarms if that is any help to you oh and it screams

have a cutout on my 4.7 and my god sounds likea beast. can set off any car alarm i choose to. sounds deep and strong when i want butwhenIgointo my apt. i can cut it off and go silent sono complaints to the off.or in places were a cop might heari cangas it with/o the worrieof noise.cost about 130 for y pipe and cut out and 30 to have a muffler shop to put it in.

 

my 05 had Flowmaster Stage 40's with 3 1/2 pipes straight out the back with 4" Stainless tips. I could set off any car alarmI wanted. It sounded good at an idle and when you "romped" down on it everybody looked. Go with something like that and add the K&N FIPK system to it and remove the resonator box above the throttle body and you will have a beast. I havent done any of this to my new 07..BUT I CANT WAIT!!!!
