Anyone have knowledge of the 'Special Anode Radiator Cap' part # RR-0109-104 sold by The Viper Store? Will it fit the 5.7 Ram radiator correctly, does it offer any real protection and is it worth the $95.00 asking price?

I have always used plain distilled water and coolant in all my vehicles.

Unless someone has some serious proof that a $50 radiator cap is going to save my engine I wouldnt spend it.

Figures a $50 dollar radiator cap is in the viper store.

I think it was next to the air intake spacers......

 

Yes, I thought it might be as useful as replacement 'muffler bearings' but if anyone will admit to having first-hand knowledge of this cap please chime in***
