I have the 26 gal fuel tank on my truck, does anybody know if there is a way to upgrade to the 35 gal tank without doing any major modifications?

Haven't heard of anybody doing the swap, but seeing as how most trucks are made pretty interchangeable (lots of parts are simple swaps) I would think that it may just be an issue of different mounting brackets. Best way to check for yourself if nobody else chimes in would be to find another dodge with the larger tank and compare the mounting locations to your own.

 

The 34 gallon tank option for the 1500 Quad Cab, if you have a Quad Cab, may be doable. However, the tank is about $500. I believe the fuel pump module differs, so there's another few hundred. If you have a 1500 Regular Cab, I don't think either the 34 gallon or the 35 gallon will fit.
